Coalescence by Cindy DeCecco

Coalescence was donated by the Artist 2012.

Copper - Dynamic interaction occurs where two forms intersect. There is an implied pull and tug. In nature, business or personal interaction, we know this. The sculpture is an accumulation of these experiences. The sculpture represents what it feels like to serve our community. Working in government, or teaching at a state school or college requires individuals to go through rigorous credentialing. What the individual later finds out is not so much that they have this great job, but the job has them. There is a dynamic connection between the two forms in the sculpture. My gift is made in gratitude for the opportunity to teach at Yavapai College and serve the community.
