"This sculpture is an art autobiography for me. I repeated forms and techniques from different series and sculptures that I’ve built over the years. I incorporated two-dimensional patterns that are also an important part of my art. I use humor in my work. While I don’t present visual jokes or narratives, my sculptures make people smile. I use forms from nature, primarily botanical forms to express my ideas. My aesthetic incorporates a blend of European Rococo, ancient, and Central/South American art. I like lively color!"
