Sept 11, 2023: PVPD Investigating Monday Shooting Incident Involving Two Men

The Prescott Valley Police Department is investigating a shooting incident between two men that occurred mid-morning on Monday, September 11. One individual has been transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center East for air evacuation to Honor Health Hospital at Deer Valley in Phoenix. The other individual is in custody.

Police temporarily closed the area of Tani Rd. and Navajo Dr./Highway 69. The area is now open and there is no further danger to the public.

No police officers were injured during the incident or during the apprehension of the suspect.This incident is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
