Take Time Out for Fun

The Department of Parks and Recreation is committed to providing parks, facilities, art and leisure opportunities to our culturally diverse population through the resources of community involvement, dedicated staff and sound management. Throughout the year we offer many inexpensive and fun activities, programs, and cultural events all designed for a wide variety of tastes and ages.

Parks & Open Spaces

The department maintains hundreds of acres of parks and open spaces and cooperatively manages several special facilities for the town’s citizens where you and your neighbors can experience the joy of learning and sharing. People of all ages are encouraged to enjoy their local parks and participate in a variety of social and educational programs. View a map of Prescott Valley Parks (PDF).

Programs & Activities

In support of the many programs, activities, and special events we also offer those with special needs inclusion services to assist them in fulfilling their participation desires. View all currently available programs and services.

If plans are being made for fun, whether for the team, congregation, community, or work, and you envision use of Town parks and/or facilities - please allow Parks and Recreation to get you started on the path to success. Fill out the town’s Special Event Application Packet and please contact our staff to ensure facility available and current rental rates.
