Prescott Valley Library system upgrade will allow for social media livestreaming of meetings
The Town of Prescott Valley is upgrading the audio/video components in its Library Auditorium, used for Town Council, Commission, and other community meetings. The cameras currently in use were installed with the original building and are now 12 years old.
This upgrade includes the purchase new cameras, a production system, a server, and required installation. It will allow the Town to broadcast in high definition and simultaneously livestream to Facebook and YouTube. Town meetings will continue to be broadcast on Sparklight (now as a high-definition channel), and on the Town's website through the Granicus software platform. Total cost of the budgeted upgrade will be $107,244.83.
