Join us for a step-by-step acrylic painting workshop with one of Silver Kite's professional teaching artists. Grab a beverage of your choice and spend an hour with us talking and making art together!     The Prescott Valley Healing Field of Northern Arizona is an annual tribute to the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives on Sept 11, 2001. Each person who perished that day is represented by an American flag with a short bio attached to the flag. The display will be setup on September 10 at 7AM until September 17. Volunteers are always needed and encouraged to attend both the field setup and takedown. To volunteer or for more information, visit

  2. Patriot Run 2021

    Prescott Valley Civic Center

    The Patriot Run is a 10k, 5k and 1 mile run fundraiser that benefits the Central Arizona Honor Guard and helps to support the mission to "Honor the Fallen, and Honor the Flag". It takes place in September during Patriot Week at the Prescott Valley Civic Center and the Prescott Valley Healing Field of Northern Arizona with the 3,000 flag memorial for all who perished on 9/11. In the aftermath of the tragedy of the Yarnell Hill fire and the loss of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots in June 2013, the then Central Arizona Fire Honor Guard wanted to pay it forward to the Fire Families across the Nation and the World that came to pay their respects to our Fire families. The Patriot Run is a way to honor that memory and fund the Honor Guard's trip to Colorado Springs in September for the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony. To register, visit

    The blessing of the field will take place at 10:00AM on September 11, 2021 at the Theater on the Green at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.     The Town of Prescott Valley presents the 20th Anniversary of Patriot Day on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Prescott Valley Civic Center Theater on the Green. This 9/11 Ceremony will remember those who lost their lives, and those that gave their lives to save others in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
